Coleen is certified by New York State as an adult nurse practitioner. She has been practicing at a large upstate New York teaching hospital since 1995, where she was the first cardiology service nurse practitioner. Coleen's first love has always been in cardiology. She worked for 17 years in an intensive care unit for cardiac patients prior to graduating from NP school. Throughout her career, she has attended and taught many courses in cardiac health subjects for professionals and for patients and their families especially related to congestive heart failure. She is also an accomplished cook and has even been featured as "Cook of the Week" in a local publication.
